How to use JPodium - Athletes

After the definition of the classes we start to fill the Athletes table with the data for our ten sportsmen. To generate table entries for them we call the Athletes table from the Control panel. The screenshot shows the empty athletes list.

To create a new entry we select the function New from the toolbar on the top right corner.

This opens the view to enter the athlete detail data. Like said above we create ten athletes. The next screenshot shows as example the JAN ULRICH data set. Please note that we set the published flag. That can of course also be done on the overview page.

The default class handling is not implemented in version 0.9.008. This entry has no effect yet.

When the data is complete we can save the dataset and return to the overview list. There we see our first athlete in the list. After repeating this steps for our ten athletes the list should look similar to the next picture. All ten athletes are shown with their names, several other informations and the ID number on the far right of the screen. The number on the left is just a counter.

Image handling for athlete profiles

The general function of handling athletes images is incomplete and deactivated in version 0.9.008. It is planned to implement more detailed athlete information including a picture. This is then to be shown on a portrait page. This portrait view exists only as a template without any functionality.
