After the announcement that I am looking for translators I received a lot of mails from volunteers. In the meantime Spanish and French are complete and will be published in the downloads section shortly. Our thanks go to YUB for the French and Ruben for the Spanish translation. And there is more to come...
Add a commentI was made aware that the latest release 0.9.010 produces an error in the administration of the races. When trying to page the stored races an error message is shown and the list is empty. A bugfix is published as release 0.9.011. The only change is a modified file for the races model in the admin backend.
Add a commentThe language file is completed now with all strings used in both frontend and backend. If you want to support JPodium and translate it into your language please contact the Webmaster.
Add a commentDuring testing and further improvement of the recent version 0.9.009 an incorrrect handling of empty tables was detected. That can cause PHP warnings on systems with a low level error warning threshold. The next update is in preparation and will handle this problem.
Add a commentIn internal tests the recent version 0.9.008 has shown a weakness in handling incomplete data. Especially when a results table contains IDs of not existing athletes the complete output table eventually does not render correctly. I am currently working on analyzing this problem. As soon as a bugfix is available it will be published here.
Update: the problem is analyzed and taken care of. The root cause was not the incomplete data but the general size of the rendered output. The update to version 0.9.009 will resolve that issue. The reason is a known Joomla! issue in regular expression handling.
