After several announcements via Twitter and a lot of mail communication I finally decided to freeze the code for the next version. The next days I'll focus on testing and fine-tuning my demo data and the installation script. The file will be available over the Easter weekend.

Major changes and new features

As you can see on the published screenshots on Twitter there will be a team management in the backend plus a team listing in the frontend. This was all created to support stage race results publishing. Beside general maintenance and bugfixes (e.g. in the installation scripts) I added two views to display results for one selected race.

The version 0.9.014 can cause a problem during the installation on Joomla! systems with a non-standard database prefix. The problem will be resolved with the next update. In case you face this problem, please read the related article in the knowledgebase. Add a comment

After quite some time I want to announce that JPodium is still alive. I received a lot of emails over the last months with questions and feature proposals. Unfortunately I have to admit that I could not answer them all in an appropiate way. Other duties like my job kept me away from my hobby of programming JPodium. Additionally I faced some technical problems with my hardware that delayed the work even more.

Website refreshing in progress

I am actually refreshing the content of this website and I will remove all banners within the next days. Instead I am going to publish a donation button and I sincerely hope that the community will support my efforts.

Feature requests collected

All emails sent are not lost and the feature requests are well taken care of. I will still focus on cycling results but will improve the support for season results, team and time based results.
