The demo data is improved to support the portrait list and several other features added with this release. General maintenance and several minor bugfixes and corrections.-
In the frontend
Major work was done on the portrait list and the detail view- A portrait list view was added.
- A portrait detail template was added - this is still incomplete.
-
In the backend
- The info view is removed. Info is now provided in a panel in the control panel view.
- The Athlete view is revised and provides more possibilities to modify data. It is also grouped in the sections basic info, portrait and personal data.
The general idea how to handle this was inspired by the Archery Scores component. Thank you.
Table changes
An ordering field is added in the classes, seasons and heats table. I was made aware that the sorting in class related views is made by the class ID. This is not good as it relies on the correct sequence of classes while creating them. To overcome this I added the ordering field and began to implement the functionality in the admin views. Unfortunately it is not complete. I decided to publish the update anyway because I announced it often enough now.Important notice
I started to implement the image handling for the athlete profile. It is definitely incomplete, you should not expect too much. The picture is displayed in the athletes overview as a thumb. This allows to simply check whether it is stored in the correct location. Not more.
Further changes
-
In the frontend
There were two different layouts added for the presentation of the results in the frontend.- A view similar to the races view - but without the classes grouping.
- A view similar to the races view - with the points column added.
- A view similar to the athletes view - without the classes column.
-
In the backend
- the athlete picture is now displayed as a thumb if it is found in the correct path
Bugfix for the races administration!
The version 0.9.010 included an error in the races administration in the backend. This was caused by some incomplete code cleanup. The new release 0.9.011 only fixes this bug, there are no further changes.
